I am professionally trained by DONA International to provide physical, emotional, and informational support to a woman and her partner during labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period. As a member of DONA, I abide by the DONA Code of Ethics. This means that my desire is to help prepare you for birth and offer constant encouragement throughout your process. I will not however, be willing to complete any medical services (such as vaginal exams) or speak on your behalf.

My services include:

  • A complimentary interview where we meet and decide if we are a good match for your birth
  • Two prenatal home visits where we discuss your expectations, help formulate a birth plan, and practice comfort measures and techniques
  • Unlimited email, phone, and text support throughout your pregnancy
  • Access to my lending library of books and online articles
  • 24 hour phone access within two weeks of your due date
  • Continuous emotional and physical support during labor at home and/or at a hospital
  • Up to three hours of post-delivery support including breastfeeding assistance
  • Birth and bonding photography, if desired
  • One postpartum visit to process birth and provide desired referrals for long term assistance

Fee: $1,000-1,200
